We are currently hiring at Straus Family Creamery for the following positions:
Full-time - Rohnert Park, not remote eligible
This role supports reliable operation of all plant automation systems, including PLCs, HMIs, instrumentation, and electrical controls. This role focuses on troubleshooting, maintaining, and improving existing systems—not designing new architectures. The Controls Technician collaborates closely with Maintenance, Engineering, and Operations to ensure equipment uptime, product quality, and safe plant operation.
Full-time - Petaluma, not remote eligible
This role represents Straus at farmer’s markets across Santa Rosa, Marin, and Sonoma, engaging directly with customers, sharing product recommendations, and handling sales for our premium organic dairy products. Responsibilities include setting up and breaking down the market booth, managing cash and Square POS transactions, and driving the company box truck to and from each location. The right candidate will be an outgoing, organized self-starter with retail experience, a passion for sustainability, and the reliability to work independently outdoors in all seasons.
